About Mind Grooves

It occurred to me that in our average 'adult contemporary' lives there is a lot of noise. Noise on the street, noise on the radio, noise on tv, noise in our heads...I felt compelled to create an antidote. This music attempts to represent the rat-race in an organized and hypnotizing art form.

I never imagined that, given the means to create my own solo recordings, I would gravitate so much to grooves. I have recorded other styles but I'm happiest, it seems for now, when I'm chasing that elusive and essential 'feel'.

Due to the nature of this music, it serves me very well when I'm driving. (It's mastered for optimal listening in a 2001 Toyota Carolla S car stereo ;) Just be careful on long trips. (Consider that my waiver)

If you like listening to music and taking 'sonic journeys' you will enjoy listening through headphones. My consumer AKG K-401's come highly recommended with this record. Classical music oriented sound systems also do it much justice (set to 'flat').

Listen to it softly, but try it loud. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making mind grooves and other sonic journeys.
